Board

GRNOG is managed by a four-member board. The board is elected by the GRNOG members for a two years service period.

Currently the GRNOG board consists of:

Board members are respon­sible to:

• • Manage all GRNOG admin­is­trative matters

• • Maintain the GRNOG tools and infra­structure (eg mailing list, website etc)

• • Organise GRNOG meetings and events

• • Represent GRNOG wherever necessary

• • Inspire and promote cooper­ation and discus­sions among GRNOG members

• Manage the social media of the group

(issue calls for presen­ta­tions, evaluate proposals, arrange agenda, book venue, catering and social events)

As far as GRNOG meetings are concerned, the board is respon­sible to:

• • Issue calls for presentations
  • Invite keynote speakers
  • Evaluate presen­tation proposals and outline the agenda
  • Locate and book suitable venues, arrange catering and social events
  • Seek sponsors
