Present at a meeting

The GRNOG program committee seeks proposals for presen­ta­tions, panels, lightning talks etc for the GRNOG events. The topics must fall within the scope and interests of the group, i.e. the design, imple­men­tation, provi­sioning and operation of Greek Internet services, networks and infra­structure. Such topics include (but are not limited to) the following areas:

  • Network design, imple­men­tation, and operation
  • Novel network protocols, technologies and architectures
  • Best practices
  • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS/Traffic Engineering)
  • Network/infrastructure security (RPKI, DDoS detection/mitigation, MANRS,  security policies)
  • IPv6 deployment
  • Network-related services and infra­structure (DNS, NTP etc)
  • Network monitoring, graphing and management tools (NMS, Netflow/IPFIX, Telemetry).
  • Network automation
  • Network monitoring
  • Routing and switching
  • Virtu­al­ization and Cloud services.
  • Datacenter design and operation
  • Peerings, Internet Exchanges, Economics of traffic exchange
  • Network automation
  • SDN and SD-WAN
  • Data centre technologies
  • Networking for Cloud
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • AI and quantum computing appli­ca­tions on IP networks
  • Follow up on standard­i­s­ation and standard­i­s­ation bodies (IETF, IEEE, Broadband Forum etc)
  • Regulatory, legal or consti­tu­tional matters of the Greek Internet
  • Evolution of the Greek/EU/global Internet 

Proposals can be sumbitted during a running Call-for-Presen­ta­tions for an upcoming event, or ad hoc. Proposals are sumbitted at GRNOG CFP platform, (link to be announced).
